Our offer

In our guesthouse we have one rule – no rules. We don’t want you to feel like an ordinary tourist but as a member of our big Georgian family. You should be ready for a lot of fun and adventures and what is the most important you will feel as a hot blooded Georgian.

We guaranty that we will pick you from Kutaisi airport. If you arrive to other airport, we will help you get to us. We know that after traveling you will be tired. So after arrival to Vani you will have time to rest. Nobody will bother you, as the whole village knows that you need time to gather yourselves up.

Our wonderful aunt will cook all dishes, so we can assure that you will get every day absolutely delicious Georgian food.

Day 1

After breakfast we have for you a lot of attractions. First we will visit the remains of the ancient city Vani from the Colchis era and a museum where you will discover a history of this place(museum in Vani). Afterwards we will arrange a picnic on the bank of river Sulori – where we will teach you some basic Georgian words and phrases. In the afternoon you should be ready to experience a real Georgian feast – Supra, where you will eat, drink, pray and love.

Day 2

After breakfast our Georgian driver will take us to Kutaisi – the former capital of Georgia - where you will have time for shopping at a traditional Georgian bazaar and visit beautiful monasteries - Bagrati, Gelati (both in the UNESCO list of world heritage) and Motsameta. During the day we will have a lunch at a restaurant in Kutaisi. In the evening our wonderful aunt will share with you some secrets of Georgian cuisine. (Tour approx. 102 km).

Day 3

After breakfast you should be ready for a great adventure, because we will go to the Okatse canyon, where we will walk at route over the precipice and we see beautiful waterfall Kinchkha. Other part of the day we will spend on Martvili canyon, where we will arrange picnic and go for kayaking. Afterwards we will show you how make Georgian cheese by yourself, as we suppose that you will miss it a lot after coming back home (Tour approx. 158 km).

Day 4

After breakfast we will go to Racha – a region in western Georgian highlands in the mountains of the Great Caucasus. In Georgia there are a lot of jokes about Rachan people with the hint at their slowness. So this day will be in Racha style – without rush. We will make a picnic near a beautiful lake Shaori, we will see Nikortsminda Cathedral (which is on the Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage). In the afternoon we will go to the village Khvanchkara. At this unusual location we will try rarest red wine, which is produced from the rare grape varieties that acquire unique qualities only in this village. We will taste also delicious Rachan food. We will stay in Racha overnight. (Tour approx. 148 km).

Day 5

After breakfast we have to say goodbye to Racha. But don’t worry, we still have for you a lot of attractions. This day we will go back to the prehistoric times in Sataplia Park (Georgia About - Sataplia) and we will see extraordinary Prometheus Cave (Georgia About - Prometheus). In the evening our lovely aunt will be waiting for us with Supra during which you will have an opportunity to learn elements of Georgian dances. (Tour approx. 159 km).

Day 6

Do you like swimming in the sea. Cool! After breakfast we are going to Batumi, a seaside city on the Black Sea coast. For the seekers of more adventure we can organize a trip to Mtirala Park where you can hike and discover waterfalls. For those, who prefer lying on the beach, there will be a free time in Batumi. We will have a diner there and stay overnight. (Tour approx. 265 km).

Day 7

After breakfast we will enjoy more sun in lovely Batumi. Around 5 pm we will go back to Vani, where goodbye Supra is waiting for us. Don’t worry about your departure, our family house will be always happy to host you anytime you wish. To the airport we will take you.

The cost of 7 day trip - $ 450 (accommodation in the Racha, in Batumi, lunch at a restaurant in Kutaisi, in Khvanchkarze wine tasting and dinner in Batumi in the price).
